Boyfriend Problems. Just broke up with me over aim. 10 points to the best advice! ?

This guy that has been crushing on me and vice versa for 2 months. He asked me out 2 days ago and i was SOOOO happy. Now tonight he said that he regrets asking me out so early and really cares about me and likes me but wish we would talk more in person. Then he said he is SO PISSED at himself for it and on his away message he says that he '; never screwed up more than he did befor and that he messed up BIG time and nothin is going to help much'; he also left a message on my phone saying '; You have no incredibly sorry i am';. He said he wants to see us go somewhere one day but i said right now i have hurt and mad feelings and idk. WHATS GOING ON? Im soooo confused and really upset and need some advice. I think it's more him saying that he wants to start over again on dating you then breaking up with you, like taking a different approach. It sounds to me like he might have low self-esteem and is unsure of himself on how to start a real relationship. It seems he does still care about you, and he's trying extra hard to do everything right so that he can pursue the perfect relationship, because he has low self esteem and he probably fears making a mistake.
What? One date and he's an emotional wreck already? Boy...how much time do you need to learn to be friends? Just message him back saying that you didn't think the situation wasn't that bad. Don't force him to be your boyfriend on the first date...give each of yourselves times to be friends first.
Just give him some time. Seems just like he isn't ready yet. Talk to him more. Hang out with him in person if possible. After not to long he'll ask you out again. You make him seem genuine so i'm going off of your written perspective. Just give him some time and it'll go good :)
I agree that it is tacky to break up on the computer or cell. Just forget him, he seems very confused and should not be trying to date anybody.
Any guy that breaks up with you over aim doesn't deserve you.

he's mad at himself for sure..cuz he messed up big time..what he need is a life and time for himself to calm down or chill and think what he really wants out of this relationship, either its friends or nothing or w/e.


if you like him so much then give him a little bit of time.. yal can still be friends and heng out..


so i wud say.. if he wants to talk to you then give him a chance..dont just blow him off... but den again..dont be all OMG... just stay calm and listen to him..
