I don't know how it works in the UK. In the US, some attorneys will work on a contingency basis. That means they agree to represent you and are paid a percentage of what you are awarded in court. That would handle the cash issue. In the US, I would recommend contacting the local Bar Association for a referral. Is there a similar organization in the UK?
