I have a bf, and he obtained an immigrant visa last January and he is now in florida,usa. We have a child. To be honest, I'm married here to someone else but we are separated for almost 10 years.My bf and I lives for about 8 years before he left.. I wanna know if there is a chance to live together in Florida as a family....what shall we do? pls i'm crying for helpPls give a serious advise regarding my problem?Badly need advice from you....?

Assuming you are outside the United States, first, get a divorce from the man you are married to.





Second, get married to him, there in your country. He cannot petition you as a fiancee. Only a US citizen can petition a fiancee. He can petition you and the child as his spouse.





Third, since he's only a permanent resident it will take about 5 and 1/2 years for you to get a visa to join him.Pls give a serious advise regarding my problem?Badly need advice from you....?
Is ur child still a minor? and does ur bf's name appear in ur childs birth certificate as the father? if not theres no way u and ur child can join ur bf in the states unless u apply for a tourist visa and that means u should have lots of money in the bank or have a massive credit limit in ur credit card to prove ur capable of traveling in the U.S. I doubt it if ur bf can make things happen for u and ur child considering hes on an immigrant visa. USA has political issues on immigration and theyre economy is not doing well so theyre gov is strict on letting new people in. If ur a nurse, doctor or in the med field or a high caliber math/science/sped teacher u can apply for work visa to get there. I say ur in deep sh*t and may god help u. have a good day! LOL
